Do I need to bring coins to do my laundry?

No coins are needed at Rain City Laundry. You can pay by debit or credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or load cash onto a store card good at any of our stores. We make it easy to get your laundry done efficiently.

How long will it take to do a load of laundry?

At Rain City Laundry, we pride ourselves on offering machines that work fast. The average wash cycles on our washing machines are 22-26 minutes. You can also expect less drying time because of our high extraction/spin cycles. We know you don’t want to spend all day at the laundromat. That’s why we offer this efficient equipment at both of our locations.

What holidays are you closed?

We believe everyone needs a holiday. That’s why we’re closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve.

What is the latest I can do a load of laundry?

At both our Auburn and Port Orchard, WA locations, the last load must go in by 7:30 p.m.

Will I have to carry my laundry far from my vehicle?

Not at all! We make doing your laundry as convenient as possible by offering parking right in front of our laundromats. This makes for easy and quick unloading.

Do you charge extra for extra rinses and hot water?

Our standard wash includes a double rinse at no charge and we never charge extra for hot water. If you need extra rinses or even a heavy duty wash, you are able to select those options at the time you load your laundry.

Where can I wait for my laundry to be done?

Our Auburn and Port Orchard WA locations both have ample sitting room for you to comfortably wait for your laundry to be done. Both facilities are air-conditioned for your convenience. We also have free WiFi for you while you wait.

Are your washers and dryers large enough for me to wash blankets and comforters?

You can certainly wash your blankets and comforters at both of our locations. At Rain City Laundry, we have jumbo washers and dryers that can handle the job. You’ll go home with fresh linens for your home!

What if I left some of my items at the laundromat?

Rain City Laundry is not responsible for lost items but you are welcome to return any evening between 7:30 and 8:00 pm to check if your items have been placed in our lost and found. Always remember to check your machines and your folding area before you leave to ensure all your freshly laundered items leave with you!

Do you sell soap and laundry supplies?

Yes, we offer single-use laundry detergent, dryer sheets and laundry bags as a convenience for our customers. Please note, we do not provide change or coins to purchase these items. Please remember to bring quarters if you need to purchase laundry supplies during your visit.

What is the SpyderWash App?

The SpyderWash App allows you to do everything from managing your loyalty card to checking the washers and dryers available. It can help you save time when you’re doing your laundry and help you save money.
